Heimdall was a good man. He had learned much from the war against Jotunheim and all the battles beforehand. He watched Odin cement Asgard as a powerhouse in the galaxy and then watched Thor grow up on stories of past feats. Of course, Thor would be war-minded. Asgardians were all looking for that little bit of glory in their lives.

"Ah, perhaps."

He chuckles to himself, clearly capable of handling a joke at his expense. His eyes flicker over to the shimmer, brow furrowing a little.

"It reminds me of my mother's magic... You know, I always thought Frost Giants must be hideous. These monsters that were all in the old stories, finding Asgardian children and chewing their bones."

Thor looks thoughtfully at Loki, eyes scanning over his face, the red of his eyes and how his hair fell.

"... What do your people think of you, being as small as you are?"
