TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!
ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.

Odin steps away from the overlook, turning to look at Loki. He remembered Loki as just a baby when Heimdall showed him to the All-Father. Loki still was so small compared to his brethren. He would never have survived had he been left there.
"I am unsure if I trust you, if I am to be honest. You have spent much time among your people, yet you claim to know nothing. You, a spy and a skilled one at that." Odin's voice was even, eye watching Loki for a long moment.
"...But even spies can be deceived. I have heard news that Jotunheim has shifted its government to a council."
He motions for Loki to come closer, pulling a sigil from his cloak. He presents it to the young Jotun.
"This is Laufey's sigil, is it not..? It was on each of the Frost Giants that attacked Asgard."

"Understandable and I hardly fault you for feeling as you do," Loki said sincerely, not in the least bit surprised to hear Odin admit it nor was he upset by it. Relief briefly flickers over his face as the All-Father continues, though, and the young Jotun nods. "Yes, a council of elders representing each tribe," he explained even as he stepped closer. "So far it has--"
Loki's words cut short at the sight of the sigil, a bitter taste filling his mouth.
"...Each of them?" he murmured, hesitating a moment before reaching out to take the sigil from Odin so he could look closer at it. "It is indeed Laufey's sigil though last I knew the last of those loyal to him had been dealt with." This meant that there was something brewing that had gone unnoticed by him and that was more unsettling than anything else.

"You have the option, Loki, of accepting your birthright upon Jotunheim. Instead, you've chosen to give power over to the people. It is... a noble action." Though, to be honest, what Frost Giant would listen to one as small as Loki Laufeyson?
But the gesture was still there. Loki could have demanded his throne. Could have fought for it. Instead, he was making changes. He was building the Frost Giants up from nothing. There was quite a bit of Heimdall in him despite not sharing true blood.
"...Heimdall recommended you to take over temporarily as Gatekeeper. I was unsure, considering what you are--who you are." Not only a Frost Giant but the heir to the Jotunheim throne. "Thor, when he came, insisted I consider you. That if I am to consider you heir to any legacy it should be the father who raised you. I am inclined to agree but I find myself wary. Would you be able to leave the work you are doing on Jotunheim for that period of time?"

If not for Heimdall who knows how Loki would have turned out. Just another greedy, power hungry giant though he may not have survived long enough to even become that given how small he was.
His gaze snaps back to Odin when the other mentions how Thor insisted he be consider, genuine surprise on his face that he can't mask fast enough.
"He did?" How unexpected. He would have to find the other later and..thank him again. What a strange individual the Odinson was. "There are a few giants on Jotunheim that I know I can trust to oversee things in my absence. I know that probably does little to comfort you since I know you have your hesitations about my people but these particular individuals would lay down their lives before letting another ruin what we have built." There's conviction in his voice that he hopes Odin hears and understands. Loki knows he can trust the Frost Giants in questions and, should anything happen, they would alert him immediately.

"You're correct in that I don't trust just anyone but I will have to. Though, understand that any issues..." His expression was stern. There had already been loss. Heimdall would recover but would always be missing the arm. The people would question his sight now.
"You can take over for the time being. We will need you to take over as soon as you are able. Currently, we have a young man, what was his name.. Skurge. He is handling it and I must say, I'm not exactly impressed."

"Any issues and the fault will fall on me," Loki said without missing a beat, nodding his head to Odin while holding the other's gaze. "I will take full responsibility for anything that should happen if it does."
It was a risk and he knew it but he also trusted the two individuals he had in mind with his life. They had stood by him while he found his footing in Jotunheim and they would follow him now. Plus they understood how much Heimdall meant to Loki.
"If you would allow it, I need only to return to Jotunheim briefly to put things into motion there and then I can return to take the position. I would send word by messenger but given the circumstances and what is at stake, I would prefer to do it in person," he said after a moment of thought, frowning just a touch. "I would rather not risk a message falling into the hands of another."

"By all means, do what needs to be done, so your position is not weakened in your absence. Once finished, return to pick up your duties. It is peaceful at the moment, outside of this attack so it shouldn't be too difficult and Heimdall has told me he would be available to speak with in regards to any troubles."
Odin waves his hand slightly. "And you have the same resources available to you as he did. Go on then, take care of what's needed. I am available to you, as well as Frigga and Thor should you need anything from us as well."

A day was all he would need to get things in order, the young frost giant having already started to formulate his plan and his orders for when he returned so it was easy enough to put everything into motion. Skadi and Imr weren't thrilled with the idea of Loki spending an extended period of time in Asgard but they also understood the situation and just how important Heimdall was to the other Jotun. In Loki's absence the pair would oversee things and keep an eye out for any traitors lurking--or any that had information of the attack on Asgard itself. The third member of their little group, Fenrir, refused to be left behind and thus Loki had to use some of his magic to make their four legged companion a little less...threatening looking.
When he arrived by on Asgard it was in the company of a large Dire Wolf with unnaturally red eyes and pelt blacker than the night sky. Loki couldn't help but take a bit of delight in the way Skurge balked at the sight of Fenrir, the Jotun resting a hand on his canine friend's neck as he glanced at the Asgardian.
"Please inform the All-Father and Thor that I have returned," he said smoothly, form shimmering as he took on his Asgardian guise.

The Asgardian made haste in departing the area. He wasn't going to stick around and be devoured by a Jotun's dog! It wasn't long until rumor started to spread though when people came to peek.. it was just another Asgardian. Skurge continued to lose a bit of face after that bit. He still insisted, but really.. the proof was before everyone's eyes.
Thor took a couple days before actually going to the gate himself. He was dressed down, hair half tied back sloppily. In his hand were a pair of large tankards, filled with ale.
"Loki! You're missing a celebration! So much like Heimdall you are." He extends the tankard out to Loki with a broad smile.

The exact one that Thor was referring to now it seems.
The Jotun had been seated on the steps of the platform with a book on his lap, Fenrir resting on the platform itself curled around the sword and locking mechanism when Thor made his entrance. The wolf immediately growled but Loki held a hand out to quiet him, amusement on the young man's face as he spared the God of Thunder a glance.
"I am here to look after the gate while my father recovers. It wouldn't be wise for me to slip away from my duties already," he mused, pausing for a moment before closing the book and standing so he could reach out and take the offered tankard.

"A beautiful creature you have. I'm told he's very intimidating for your visitors."
Loki had been accepted easily enough, despite the rumors that he was a Frost Giant. They hadn't gained much traction, considering that they could clearly see he wasn't. Thor was amused by it, especially when he was turned to for some level of confirmation. His response was often just a vaguely confused shrug. Who knew with Skurge.
"Have you had the opportunity to see Heimdall since taking on his duties?"

"As entertaining as I'm sure it would be to watch an Asgardian celebration, I'm quite alright here," Loki said sincerely as he lowered his drink. "Thank you for this, though." He lifted the tankard slightly in a gesture. "It's appreciated--as is the steak, that I assure you."
See the way Fenrir is tearing into that steak? Yeah. Definitely appreciated.
"I have not, though your companions were kind enough to bring me a message from him and sent one to him for me in return," the Jotun said with a small smile. "I wanted to take my place here as soon as I returned from Jotunheim."

"I'm sure Heimdall will make his way here as soon as he is able. He is already trying to convince the physician he is well enough to take up his duties again. It's driving him crazy, just laying around."
He takes a long sip of his tankard, glancing at Loki up and down. He points with his forefinger holding the mug, smiling.
"I remember you now, by the way. I asked Heimdall what he meant when he said I never had the courage to talk to you... It was when we were both still young, I had seen you at one of the festivals. I didn't know who you were. I thought you were a girl, actually."
His eyes were lingering on Loki's face now.
"It was your eyes. Every time I had seen you as a child they were a different color, either green or blue. I don't know if you meant to do it but I thought it was... pretty."

Fenrir had finished off the steak and stepped over to bump his head against Loki's side, the Jotun resting an arm on the beast's head when Thor mentioned remembering him. He looked over at the Asgardian curiously as the memories were recalled and the faintest of grins tugged at his lips.
"There were times that I probably was. A girl, I mean," he admitted, sipping from his tankard. "Once I learned how to shapeshift I took advantage of it whenever I could." Animals, people. He always had a lot of fun with it.
The way Thor's eyes lingered on his face was a bit...he wasn't sure what to make of it really. And he definitely isn't expecting the other to call him pretty of all things. Well, his past self. Or did it still apply now?
"...I could never decide which I liked and since I couldn't have my normal color I simply changed them as I saw fit," Loki murmured, absently scratching behind one of Fenrir's ears, distracting himself with doting on the beast so he could look away from Thor. "There was a time, a year or so as I was growing up, that I wanted nothing more than to be Asgardian."

Thor smirks slightly when Loki looks away to focus on the wolf. He looks away as well, out of the gate towards Asgard. The Bifrost bridge always looked best as the sunset and the night grew dark. The bridge glittered its span of colors against the night sky.
"You could have been Asgardian, if you were a shapeshifter. None would have been the wiser. You were raised in Asgard, weren't you?" He looks back, smiling at him. "You had the choice. But I also don't know what it's like to be anything but Asgardian. It must be difficult for you."
He moves to sit down, taking a drink to wet his throat.
"To have grown up in the care of an Asgardian yet be a Jotun. What made you want to return to Jotunheim instead of staying?"

The wolf rumbles as if understanding what was being talked about, bumping Loki then outright steering him towards the steps. The Jotun rolled his eyes but went over and sat down, swatting lightly at the wolf as he sank down beside Thor.
"Curiosity largely. Though most of what drove me to return was knowing how much my people were suffering due to what my...due to what Laufey had done. What his war had caused and thrust upon everyone else," he explained, staring down at his drink with a gentle frown. "I know most assume every Frost Giant is the same and that we all crave war as he did but I promise you that is hardly the case. Many of us simply want to live."

"My father, on the other hand." Thor shakes his head slightly, smirking. "He's rather disappointed in me at the moment. Said my actions were grounds for setting back any coronation I might have been wanting."
He glances at Loki, eyes flicking up and down the Jotun.
"It seems I am the one making a bad name for my people. You, on the other hand, seem to be elevating yours."
Thor's eyes lingered on Loki a moment, then he waves his hand as he looks away. "You don't need that disguise if it's only the two of us."

"True, though it would have been obvious that he was concerned that I had only chosen the path I did because I felt it was necessary and not because it was what I honesty wanted," he mused and, to be fair, it would have been a fair assumption. For awhile he had wanted nothing more than to be a perfect son for Heimdall. It took him a long time to realize, to understand, that the gatekeeper saw him as perfect already without him pretending to be Asgardian.
"I am simply doing what I can. Whether or not I accomplish anything is a whole different matter," Loki drawled before glancing over at Thor and grinning some. "You've hardly made a bad name for your people." A pause and the grin grows. "Now, a bad name for yourself..."
Teasing? Why yes, yes he was.
Surprise flickers across his expression when Thor mentions his disguise and the Jotun stares for a moment then glances at the wolf resting near him. Fenrir huffs and shakes his fur out, looking rather relaxed for the first time since arriving here and that was honestly enough for Loki. There's the faintest shimmer as his magic works and sweeps over him, the Asgardian guise disappearing as his normal form is revealed once more.
"...I appreciate that. Thank you, Thor."

"Ah, perhaps."
He chuckles to himself, clearly capable of handling a joke at his expense. His eyes flicker over to the shimmer, brow furrowing a little.
"It reminds me of my mother's magic... You know, I always thought Frost Giants must be hideous. These monsters that were all in the old stories, finding Asgardian children and chewing their bones."
Thor looks thoughtfully at Loki, eyes scanning over his face, the red of his eyes and how his hair fell.
"... What do your people think of you, being as small as you are?"

At the mention of Frost Giants being hideous Loki snorts softly, lips curving into a smirk as Fenrir gives a low rumble of something. Annoyance? Agreement? It's hard to say. But Loki can't help but give Thor a curious look, a rather sly look on his face.
"Oh? And what do you think now, Odinson?" he teased, baiting the other just because the opening was there.
And then of course his size had to be brought up.
The grin slipped away and Loki frowned, looking down at the tankard he held as he fought the urge to hunch his shoulders.
"...Many are not fond of it. It makes me lesser in their eyes. Weaker. All the more reason for me to prove myself to them and show them that I can help them prevail through what my father did."

Frigga was far different from Odin. She would have seen Loki as another one of her children, regardless of his heritage. Heimdall was family and Loki by extension would be as well. And seeing his mother gain such praise always lightened Thor's heart.
Thor glances over Loki, watching the teasing grin then how it faded at the mention of his small stature.
"Size doesn't equal strength. The Jotun are all giants and we on Asgard are not yet it is we who won the war."
Probably not the best thing to gloat over, given that he was Asgardian and the one he was gloating to was a displaced Jotun but Laufey had failed his people. It was time for the more diplomatic to take their place.
"And to answer your question, I don't think you're hideous. You, at least. I haven't met many other Frost Giants but if you are an example then I will be left speechless of their beauty."
Thor smirks, taking Loki's hand to kiss the back of his gently as he rose.
"I should let you get back to your duties, Loki of Jotunheim."

"Your father would have found out and been extremely displeased with the whole thing," the Jotun mused though with a note of longing in his voice. Oh how amazing it would have been to be able to learn magic from someone else rather than having to teach himself everything he knew. He'd done well and practice certainly did make perfect in most cases but he would have been able to develop his skills faster with a teacher.
A look is shot Thor's way at the mention of the war but Loki refrains from comment, simply sipping his ale again. Indeed, Asgard had won the war but that had been more because of his father's foolishness.
Not that Loki had any intentions of waging war. That would be just as foolish.
It's a good think he took the drink when he did and finished it before Thor made his next comment else he would have choked, his cheeks flushing a light violet color as he looks momentarily surprised.
Even more so when Thor takes his hand and kisses the back of it.
"Yes I...thank you for the ale, Thor of Asgard. And the company," he murmured, lips curving into the faintest of grins as Fenrir let out a gruff noise at his back.

One item came in a carved wooden box. It was a pendant of an ouroboros, made from Uru. It was cold to the touch and would never warm against a person's skin as it was enchanted with energy from the Casket of Ancient Winters.
A simple augment, in reality, added only to draw frost magics from the naturally inclined. An oddly specific gift.
Heimdall came across the Bifrost Bridge the same day the gift arrived. There was far more life in him after the rest but a clear cabin fever was setting in. He lifts his hand to wave ahead to Loki, his cloak hanging over his opposite shoulder.
"Loki! To be so close yet only able to send missives has been frustrating. I've managed to escape our good physicians at long last."

But then came the pendant. It was very specific and very gorgeous. Loki had sat on the edge of his bed with the box on his lap for some time admiring it, feeling the energy coming from it as he brushed his fingers over it and felt the glamour spell he'd cast over himself weaken as the cold rushed over him. He hadn't taken it off since he'd received it and while it could have very well been something Heimdall had given him...
He was starting to suspect that someone else was sending him these gifts now.
Looking up from the book he'd been reading, Loki couldn't help but smile as Fenrir hopped up and bound over to Heimdall like a massive puppy rather than a wolf, yipping in greeting as he licked the man's face.
"Should you be up, father, or are you getting that stir crazy?" he drawled, closing his book and rising from his seat. He stepped down off the platform and closed the distance between himself and Heimdall, embracing the other without hesitation. "It's good to see you up and about all the same. How are you feeling?"

"I was released, actually. No longer am I in danger of death and can begin adapting to my new life of literally single-handedly guarding the gates of Asgard."
Get it? Haha, amputee jokes. Heimdall was doing his best to keep some semblance of humor over his new loss.
But more importantly...
"What is that that you're wearing? I felt a chill." He reaches up, touching the pendant around Loki's neck. "Where did you get this? This is the Queen Mother's magic blessing this old relic..."
