TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!



ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.

⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.


ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.


CRACK.

Thor was startled by the Jotun suddenly disappearing. Magical trickery, why did witches always think themselves better than warriors? His eyes snap to where the Jotun was now, narrowing with irritation at him.

"You expect me to believe that?" The derision was strong in his tone. He doubted Heimdall...

Well, if any of them would feel kindness towards an abandoned baby it would be Heimdall, Thor couldn't deny that but a Jotun? How old was this one, was it recent? No, if Thor remembered Heimdall talking about his son when even he was a child so it may have been as far back as the war...

"It's too bad Asgard has no interest in Frost Giants within its borders."

"Drop the knife, Jotun." Hogun had slid into view, blade drawn as he approaches. "You would be wise to choose your next actions carefully."

Thor smirks slightly, still watching the little giant's face.

"Go ahead, little giant. Wound me, kill me even. War would be incited and my father will raze the rest of this planet to the ground. The only time you would see Heimdall is when he rides with my father into battle to slay each and every one of your kin."

"Whether you believe it or not, the truth is the truth, Asgardian," Loki drawled, gaze flicking over to where Hogun was approaching though he didn't flinch. If anything he simply pressed his blade closer to Thor's side. "He found me after the war and raised me on Asgard as his own while allowing me to learn about my heritage as I grew. Once I was old enough, he brought me back here and I've been helping my people since."

Fandral had a somewhat thoughtful look on his face as he approached on Thor's other side, his own weapon drawn though he looked far less likely to strike just yet.

"Helping them prepare an attack?"

"You honestly believe I would be foolish enough to lead them down such a destructive path?" Loki retorted, finally drawing the dagger from Thor's side and letting it disappear. The spell he used on the hammer dissipated as well and he stepped back, red eyes focusing on the God of Thunder. "The giants that lie dead on Asgard do not speak for all Jotuns. My people want peace, not the war of their predecessors though I have no doubts there are some that are still out for blood."

"You realize why it's hard for us to trust you, yes?" Fandral spoke up again, glancing at Hogun then Thor to Volstagg who was hanging back ominously. "There isn't exactly a good history and you did attack Thor--"

"Hardly. If I had wanted to harm him I would have. He's alive and that should speak for itself."

It all sounded like lies to Thor. Someone like this frost giant would surely use trickery more than anything else in battle. Why not trick them into taking him into Asgard? He would most likely wreak havoc once there. There was no reason to trust him.

"I don't know, I feel quite attacked. Now he's threatening me." He looks to Fandral with a smug grin. "I think it's fair to say the little giant wants a fight!"

His eyes sweep back to Loki, sharp and ready. "And I think its more than obvious which one of us Asgard will believe!"

The hammer lifts, Hogun readying at Loki's flank to strike but a flash of light and booming sound of hooves cuts the fight off before it can begin. Odin seemed particularly imposing seated upon his great 8 legged stallion, eye sharp as it glares down upon what he found.

"Why is it that I come here to Jotunheim to find my son and his friends already here, with weapons drawn?" He holds a hand up to Thor before he could answer. "I will you to wait before answering so you not anger me further."

He looks beyond Thor, motioning to the little giant.

"Loki. Your father has asked for you."

"Wait--what?" Thor shook his head, trying to clear the sudden rush of confusion that hit him as he looks between the Jotun and his father. "...what?!"

"Thor--" Fandral started to protest as Loki smirked, waiting for the Asgardians to make their move when the brilliant flash of light interrupted things. The Frost Giant winced at how bright it was and turned his head slightly while Fandral held up an arm to shield his eyes, almost groaning because All-Father they were in so much trouble.

Only Volstagg seemed unphased as he lifted his weapon onto his shoulder and made his way over now.

"I had a feeling he might," Loki said as he straightened and nodded to Odin in a manner of greeting, a hand to his chest though he fought back a grin at the sheer confusion rolling off Thor. "I told you my words were truth, Asgardian."

"...Well this is a bit awkward, isn't it?" Fandral muttered, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose as Volstagg slapped him on the back.

"At least no fight broke out."

Hogun put his weapon away quickly, bowing to Odin. At least he knew that the All-Father would understand he was strong-armed into this whole debacle. They all were. Hopefully that would earn them some good will from the king.

Thor stared at Loki, completely flabbergasted by this new information. What.. But.. His father hated the Frost Giants. So did most of Asgard..? Yet.. Heimdall called one his child..? Odin allowed this? None of this was making any sense, none of it, he didn't...

"We will speak further once home, Thor. Come." Odin was secretly glad he didn't have to go looking for the young Jotun as his presence would surely cause a stir. Still, Thor was here without his blessing. That was something he needed to address.

The return was tense, Thor unable to stop glancing at the tiny giant in confusion as he tried to piece everything together. Heimdall had spoken much of his son. How proud he was of him. That his son was doing good work for the sake of Asgard. Yet, his son was a Frost Giant..?

"For your safety, Loki, it might do you well to hide your appearance. Things are tense at the moment."

While Odin still had trepidation about the Frost Giants as a whole there was no need to put Loki into danger. He motions for Thor to come along as well, as there would need to be a conversation.

"I see you met my own son. I hope he treated you with respect." Though Odin's tone carried the understanding that Thor treated him with the exact opposite. "If not then I hope he can earn your forgiveness."

"Forgiv--The Frost Giants attacked Asgard and you want me to earn their forgiveness?"

Needless to say Loki was extremely amused by how this was all turning out, well aware of Thor glancing at him the whole return trip but he chose to ignore it. He instead ended up in conversation with the Warriors Three, Fandral in particular trying to smooth things over a bit and well, given who it was, there might have been some flirting in there as well.

"Of course," Loki replied as Odin suggested hiding his appearance, the Jotun already conjuring the spell needed as the All-Father mentioned Thor earning his forgiveness.

Blink and you'll miss the change, Thor, because where once was a Frost Giant is now a young man who looks no different from one that might have been raised on Asgard. A lazy smirk plays on his lips, eyebrow arched as he looks at Thor finally, arms tucked behind his back and underneath the cloak draped loosely around his shoulders.

"As I said before, those that attacked Asgard this day do not speak for all of us," he said in a dry tone, as if speaking to a child that just wasn't understanding something.

Thor was getting irritated by Fandral's flirting. Must you?! With everyone?! Talk about a lack of loyalty among his own group of warriors. Thor shook his head at Fandral then looked back at Loki, startling at how he was suddenly far less blue.

He just felt a little more vindicated at this point. Look at this one, he could sneak right on in couldn't he?! Thor gave Loki a very sharp look when he patronized him, lip curling with irritation.

"You cannot be sure of that yourself, Loki." Odin interrupted, though didn't turn to look at the young Jotun. "They could speak for just themselves or for many more than you realize. I have no doubt Laufey still bears ill-will towards our people."

Thor smirked, pleased with himself that his father agreed with him.

Odin stops once outside the medical facility, turning to look at Loki.

"You have lived quite a while now among the Frost Giants. Forgive me if I find myself questioning your actions and motivations. It is for the good of Asgard and Asgard will always stand highest among my priorities." He looks to Thor. "With that said, I am disappointed you took it upon yourself to go to Jotunheim though you managed to avoid any interplanetary issues. For that, kindly escort our guest to Heimdall's room and make sure he does not wander."

"But--" He didn't want to be a guest escort for the rest of the day..! But Odin just held up his hand and walked away. Thor supposed this was his punishment then.

"Of course," Loki murmured as Odin addressed him, his expression carefully neutral now as he waited for the man to finish saying what he had to say, easily containing his disgust at the blatant dislike that man still held for Frost Giants. Seriously, Odin, you needed to try harder if you wanted to convince anyone that you weren't racist.

As Odin gave his command and left them, Fandral fought back a laugh and turned it into a cough he muffled against one of his gloved hands.

"Would you like us to accompany you as well, Thor?" he mused, eyebrow going up as he glanced at his friend then to Loki and back again. "Just in case he tries anything?" He clearly wasn't all that worried. In fact, he was rather inclined to trust the Frost Giant.

Volstagg had both arms hooked over the axe resting over his shoulders as he watched them all banter, shaking his head in amusement.

"I think you mean in case our dear friend Thor tries anything, Fandral."

"It seems your friends know you quite well," Loki mused, lips quirking again as Fandral and Volstagg both chuckled.

OH, was he trying to convince anyone that he didn't harbor ill will? Well, there was still time for changes to be made. Odin was working on it. He was far more tolerant than some at least.

Thor gave Fandral and Volstagg a sharp, irritated look. "Who's side are you exactly? Should you not stand by your crown prince?"

Hogun sighs, interjecting himself finally. "Enough. The two of you, with me. We can take up position outside of the facility. It will draw far less attention to our guest that way."

Thor nods, giving one last sharp look at his supposed friends before striding ahead into the building. He was clearly still frustrated with how everything was playing out. Why would Heimdall trust him with this information? Were they not friends? Shouldn't Thor know these things if he's to be king?

He was at war with himself now that his initial adrenaline had worn off. The Frost Giants were an old enemy. He'd grown up understanding the majority of Asgardians hated them yet Heimdall had raised one as his own, even talked about him freely if never specifically saying he was Jotun.

"Why did Heimdall never introduce us?" Thor slowed his walk to match Loki's pace, side-eyeing him.

"Yes, of course, my apologies Thor," Fandral said with a quick tip of his head, fighting back a grin as Volstagg just rumbled in amusement and headed off after Hogun. A quick wink was sent Loki's way before the third warrior followed, the Jotun grinning faintly as he continued after the Asgardian prince, arms still tucked behind his back.

"Perhaps because he knew you would react much like you have been this entire time," Loki suggested in a mock innocent tone, glancing over at Thor as his grin faded. "We kept my presence here discreet as we had agreed that I would return to my homeland once I was at an age where I would be able to care for myself and aid my people without issue. Your father and mother knew. Outside of them, no one else was aware of my true heritage."

And he couldn't help but grin again, turning his gaze forward.

"But I was never hidden from you. You were just far too busy to notice anything that wasn't of interest to you."

Ale. Women. Men at times. Fighting. Those sorts of things.

Thor gave Fandral a long-suffering look because seriously, now wasn't the time. In fact, it would never be the time. Ever. Don't even think about it, Fandral.

"I wouldn't have reacted this way if I had met you like this." Which wasn't entirely wrong. He would have been shocked to find out later, of course. Maybe felt lied to. But he wasn't completely closeminded. Did he come off that way?

"If you were Heimdall's you would have been accepted into Asgard freely." Thor was quick to say, putting quite a bit of trust in Heimdall's name. He wholly believed it wouldn't have been a problem, because it was their Gatekeeper.

Never mind that he was burdened with deep-seated racism himself. That wasn't the point.

"No, I surely would have noticed you."

The response was perhaps too quick and Thor's brow was furrowed in thought. He glances at Loki again, squinting. He definitely would have noticed. Perhaps if he figured out...

But they were at Heimdall's room. He didn't have time to continue this chatter. Thor pushes the door open, smiling warmly at the Gatekeeper who returned it with a node.

"Ah, I'm surprised to see you, Thor. I thought you would never have the courage to speak directly to Loki." He extends an arm--his only arm now-- to beckon Loki closer.

"I would have been accepted freely as long as I looked just like everyone else," Loki corrected with a hint of disgust in his voice. "Your people have always held a dislike for mine and always will."

Heimdall was the exception to the rule. He had never looked at Loki like he was anything less than his son.

Anything else he has to say is left for another time because they were at his father's room and Loki's expression melts into one of worry. Heimdall doesn't even have to beckon--with one arm--for the Jotun man to head over, beelining to his father's bed and taking his hand in both of his.

"Father," he said softly, gaze sweeping over Heimdall as he forgot about Thor for the time being, sitting on the edge of his father's bed. "I--father, I'm sorry. Had I known.." Shaking his head, Loki lifted Heimdall's hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it. "I'm so sorry."

Thor wanted to continue the ... debate but, of course Heimdall was speaking. Making him feel awkward and a bit confused. Courage to talk to Loki..? Had he met the Jotun then? Loki didn't seem to remember meeting him, but seeing him...

Heimdall gives Loki's hand a squeeze. There were a few broken veins in his eye, surrounding the yellow iris from where he'd received quite a blow to the face but besides and the arm he seemed none the worse for wear. The arm bit was quite the downer though.

"If you had known then you would have either been a part of it or dead for knowing." He smiles at his son, pulling the pale hand towards his own lips for a return kiss of affection. "I am glad to see your face, even if in the wrong color."

Thor hesitates then turns to tap the console. It blacked out the windows to the room. He chose to stay facing away then, brow furrowed.

"Thank you." Heimdall gives a brief nod, before his attention was fully on Loki again. "The All-Father will want to speak with you, if he has not already."

Loki sneered some, shaking his head. "I would never sink to such a level, to attack Asgard--to attack you, of all people. I have my issues with this place but you know better than any that I would not condone actions like these, father," he said without hesitation, squeezing Heimdall's hand as if hoping--wanting him to understand that he was telling the truth. Wanting someone to believe him since everyone else seemed to think he was lying.

Sure he despised Asgard for many reasons but he wasn't stupid enough to want to want to mount an attack against the place. And to attack his own father?

He glanced over at Thor as the Asgardian blacked the windows out and stayed turned away, gaze lingering for a moment before he turned his focus back to Heimdall and slowly allowed his glamour to fade. Pale skin melted back to blue and green eyes seeped to red, horns reappearing as the young Jotun allowed his true self to be revealed once more.

"Briefly but it was implied he had more to say," Loki murmured only to sigh as he looked down at their joined hands. "I have no doubts he'll be displeased with the information I have for him considering I have none to give. I only knew about the attacks because Thor and his companions arrived on Jotun which I initially thought to be an attack in itself."

"Don't think that I am saying you would, Loki. I trust you. I believe your words."

So many that knew who Loki was refused to trust him based on what he was. Heimdall wished only that Loki be judged by his deeds and not by his heritage. He provided much to Asgard by working directly on Jotunheim to bring peace between the two nations. He deserved better.

"He is already displeased that Thor thought to try and handle things himself." The gatekeeper smirks, knowing Thor was snapping himself around to protest but manages to resist and turn back around. "The All-Father doesn't blame you. He is angry at the situation, not at any one person. I have already told him if he is to be angry at anyone it should be me."

Heimdall should have seen the attack coming. Something had clouded his vision and it was of great concern.

"While I recover we will need a temporary gatekeeper. As the All-Father asked for my recommendation I put your name forward, Loki. You aren't obligated to accept, of course..."

"Of course I will accept," Loki said quickly, in a determined manner as he grasped his father's hand again between both of his. It didn't matter to him what objections others might have to him taking the position. He was going to do it. It's what his father wanted and it's what was going to happen. "However long you need, I will hold the position. My position on Jotunheim can wait for the time being."

Loki glanced over towards Thor briefly before focusing on Heimdall again, reaching out with one hand to brush his fingers against the damage to his father's face.

"No harm was done by Thor and his comrades visiting Jotunheim. What is far more important is figuring out what happened. Why any sought to attack Asgard given the state of our realm currently."

"It wouldn't be allowed, Loki standing as Gatekeeper." Thor finally interjected. He couldn't stand idly and not interrupt when it came to this topic. "He is a Frost Giant and Asgard was just attacked by those same people."

Heimdall pulls in a calming breath before looking to Thor, a brow raised. "Do you think he would stand at the gate as he is? He isn't a fool and nor am I--"

"Father wouldn't allow it to happen. And we could have been attacked by the Vanir even and he would not allow it to happen." Thor knew his father to be a good man and an open man but for the sake of Asgard...

The gatekeeper sighs, giving Loki's hand a squeeze. He knew what Thor was saying was most likely true though... "Do not think so little of the All-Father, Thor. He may carry a distaste for Frost Giants but not choosing Loki to stand at the gate would be because of the recent attack."

He looks to his son, who he still believes to be the best option. "We will see what Odin chooses to do. I would like you to stay a bit longer, so we might catch up."

Thor felt as if this would end up being a private conversation. He stands awkwardly for a moment more before thinking of something. He nods to Heimdall and Loki as he moves towards the door.

"Take your time, I will leave you to your talk."

Loki couldn't help but bristle. Leave it to the blessed son of Odin to object like that. To speak his opinion on the matter when his opinion wasn't necessary. His grip on Heimdall's hand tightened slightly as he glanced over at the Asgardian, red eyes narrowed to thin slits.

He understood what the other was saying but no one knew the position better than Loki. (Outside of Heimdall, obviously.) He was the best choice for the position.

"...Yes, we shall see what the All-Father wishes," Loki repeated, gaze still on Thor, a slight frown on his lips before he focused on his father and immediately his expression softened. "I will stay as long as you wish me to, father."

Nothing would pull him away from Heimdall's side.

Though..

"..Thank you, Thor." Irritation with Asgardians aside, Loki is still grateful that the other brought him here and well, he would need to keep a decent relationship with the heir to the throne if he was going to be here awhile.

Thor gives a slight nod before disappearing out of the room. Heimdall sighs, giving Loki's hand a small tug.

"Try not to blame him for his prejudices. He has the potential to grow beyond them still and I am hoping he does. I am still disappointed he never plucked up the courage to speak to you when you were both children. You could have been wonderful friends but he hardly remembers it now..."

It would have been nice. Thor becoming Loki's friend, independent of any outside influence to do so. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be so.

"Tell me everything you have been doing, catch me up. I'm awake and you are here..."

It would be a few hours before Odin finally sent for Loki. Heimdall gave an encouraging nod, being unable to go with him. Strangely it was Hogun, Fandral and Volstagg who fetched Loki for the All-Father and not Thor.

Odin was overlooking Asgard from a palace balcony, leaning on the rail as he surveys the evening movements below. Thor tipped his head to Odin as he departs, passing Loki with a short glance before motioning for the warriors to follow him. Best not to stick around for the moment.

"Loki. I trust you know why I wanted to speak with you."

Loki was more than happy to tell Heimdall of all the progress that had been made back in his realm and while it wasn't necessarily as much progress as one would hope for just yet, some was better than none. Most of the internal fighting among tribes had ceased and Loki had been able to establish a council of sorts among the elders of the tribes. There was no singular leader, as his true father had been, and it was for the best for the time being. Resources were still low but in time they would attempt trade with the other realms--if such a thing could be done what with Jotunheim's reputation.

All in all, things were getting better. At least until three Frost Giants had to go and make things difficult for all.

When the Warriors Three arrived to escort Loki to Odin, the young Jotun lingered at his father's side for an extra moment to press a kiss to his temple, weaving a protective spell over him before slipping away to join the trio waiting on him. By the time he stepped into the hallway he was once more in his Asgardian guise and chatted pleasantly with Fandral as they made for where Odin waited.

He met Thor's gaze, briefly, before focusing on Odin as he was left alone with the All-Father, arms tucked behind his back underneath his cloak as he tipped his head respectfully.

"I have an idea or two why. My father mentioned a few things that you might wish to speak to me about."

"I expressed my concerns to Heimdall, about you not knowing this attack was coming. He was adamant that you would not know of it. My son informs me that you said as much when you spoke to Heimdall." Sorry, Loki. Thor wasn't going to deny an answer to his father's questions. "I trust my gatekeeper and my son, as foolhardy as he can be."

Odin steps away from the overlook, turning to look at Loki. He remembered Loki as just a baby when Heimdall showed him to the All-Father. Loki still was so small compared to his brethren. He would never have survived had he been left there.

"I am unsure if I trust you, if I am to be honest. You have spent much time among your people, yet you claim to know nothing. You, a spy and a skilled one at that." Odin's voice was even, eye watching Loki for a long moment.

"...But even spies can be deceived. I have heard news that Jotunheim has shifted its government to a council."

He motions for Loki to come closer, pulling a sigil from his cloak. He presents it to the young Jotun.

"This is Laufey's sigil, is it not..? It was on each of the Frost Giants that attacked Asgard."

He wasn't surprised to hear that Thor had reported things to his father; he wouldn't have expected anything less, to be quite honest. Given how tense things were right now it was only fair that everything that was overheard be told to the All-Father.

"Understandable and I hardly fault you for feeling as you do," Loki said sincerely, not in the least bit surprised to hear Odin admit it nor was he upset by it. Relief briefly flickers over his face as the All-Father continues, though, and the young Jotun nods. "Yes, a council of elders representing each tribe," he explained even as he stepped closer. "So far it has--"

Loki's words cut short at the sight of the sigil, a bitter taste filling his mouth.

"...Each of them?" he murmured, hesitating a moment before reaching out to take the sigil from Odin so he could look closer at it. "It is indeed Laufey's sigil though last I knew the last of those loyal to him had been dealt with." This meant that there was something brewing that had gone unnoticed by him and that was more unsettling than anything else.

Odin is watching Loki carefully, noticing the unsettled expression. He is quiet for a moment, allowing the boy to handle the sigil.

"You have the option, Loki, of accepting your birthright upon Jotunheim. Instead, you've chosen to give power over to the people. It is... a noble action." Though, to be honest, what Frost Giant would listen to one as small as Loki Laufeyson?

But the gesture was still there. Loki could have demanded his throne. Could have fought for it. Instead, he was making changes. He was building the Frost Giants up from nothing. There was quite a bit of Heimdall in him despite not sharing true blood.

"...Heimdall recommended you to take over temporarily as Gatekeeper. I was unsure, considering what you are--who you are." Not only a Frost Giant but the heir to the Jotunheim throne. "Thor, when he came, insisted I consider you. That if I am to consider you heir to any legacy it should be the father who raised you. I am inclined to agree but I find myself wary. Would you be able to leave the work you are doing on Jotunheim for that period of time?"

"Had I been brought up by the Frost Giants perhaps I would have sought power without hesitation," Loki said as he glanced out over the city and away from Odin with a slight frown. A thoughtful frown. "There are many that were confused by my decision, my suggestions but those that protested have come around--at least I thought they had. I..would like to think that my father has a lot to do with the being I am now."

If not for Heimdall who knows how Loki would have turned out. Just another greedy, power hungry giant though he may not have survived long enough to even become that given how small he was.

His gaze snaps back to Odin when the other mentions how Thor insisted he be consider, genuine surprise on his face that he can't mask fast enough.

"He did?" How unexpected. He would have to find the other later and..thank him again. What a strange individual the Odinson was. "There are a few giants on Jotunheim that I know I can trust to oversee things in my absence. I know that probably does little to comfort you since I know you have your hesitations about my people but these particular individuals would lay down their lives before letting another ruin what we have built." There's conviction in his voice that he hopes Odin hears and understands. Loki knows he can trust the Frost Giants in questions and, should anything happen, they would alert him immediately.

The boy seemed hungry. Not for food of course but for something else. Odin wondered often what it could be that fueled him but perhaps it was something as simple as acceptance. Could it be something that simple? Some people wanted for little in life. Laufey had been quite a grand person. A warlord who was willing to shed blood for his people's expansion.

"You're correct in that I don't trust just anyone but I will have to. Though, understand that any issues..." His expression was stern. There had already been loss. Heimdall would recover but would always be missing the arm. The people would question his sight now.

"You can take over for the time being. We will need you to take over as soon as you are able. Currently, we have a young man, what was his name.. Skurge. He is handling it and I must say, I'm not exactly impressed."
